Having bit of trouble getting oil filter off :Dthe canister one, any tips? It has leak so going to change it. Will i have to top up with oil when new one goes on or will there only be small amount of oil?

I had exactly the same problem ! Resorted to the old punch a big screwdriver through method - very , very messy though !!:o

I was able to remove mine using a standard oil filter tool with the chain on it. There was very little room and I had to try a few different positions from memory.

Got it off, but big crack in new one great:eek:, so will it be ok to put old one back on for now its not damaged just lying on news paper will the seal be ok?
