Blower resistor or Transistor Disco 2

Is there anyone that can answer me if there are both resistor and transistor in the blower speed adjustment on Disco II from 2003.

When I ordered sparepart I got a resistor, but I cant find anything else than i Transistor on my Disco.

Heynes service manual describes only for the model without aircondition.

I've only got the RAVE CD to 2001 model year, but that shows a resistor with two fixing screws and a multi-way plug, is that what you have?

Pictures of the old and new bits might be helpful.
