My exhaust manifold (1988 land rover 110 hardtop) is cracked and sounds like a chieftan tank. Need another one - anyone got one near Somerset? Need it quick as an MOT is looming!

Will a Series 3 fit?

Manifolds, needs new exhaust studs. £20.00

Hi Jeff - in so far as I am aware, no! But I am not an expert and as there are many experts on the site, if I'm wrong in believing that it won't fit, can you let me know! My VIN is SALLDHAD7EA349*** and the vehicle is a 1988 2.5 Petrol Land Rover 110 hardtop.

Thanks

Simon

Excellent stuff - I'll confirm with my landrover guru tomorrow and then if it's OK, try and get down to Plymouth over the next couple of weeks. I have some business dwon your way - I am based in Burnham on Sea but have an office in Exeter, so is this OK? Also, is the manifold removed or can it be removed by any chance? Finally, is the engine in yours a 2.5 petrol (as opposed to a 2.25)?

Cheers

Simon

These may make it easier, depends on when, but I may be able to meet you at Exeter. I will PM my contact number.

As you can see it is off the Vehicle. You will need to replace the exhaust studs, 1 missing, 1 broken (but easy to grip) and one holding the remains of the exhaust.

It was easier to fit the spare with the new exhaust.

Hi Jeff

My info was that the 2.25 wouldn't fit my 2.5, so i will pass on your offer. But thank you! I really appreciate your offer of help. I have bought one today from Buckley Brothers - £50 for a new one with postage seems very reasonable.

Thanks again Jeff
