Land Rover 127 Defender

I currently have a 2.8 turbo diesel Iveco but I need more torque when going up hills or when fully loaded. I am interested either in a new engine or a V8 diesel turbo. Could anyone please advise me on choosing the appropriate engine. I need it for towing heavy trailers.

i would suggest a 6.2L chevy V8 diesel about 700ft/tourge and loads of horses for towing !

and you can still get 25 to the gallon
