Whilst sorting out some photographs this afternoon I found a couple from a small local show in June 1980.
It was right next to jct 41 of the M1, so a lot of the famous Customs of the day went (aah, memories!)

This Landie ('Rugged Comfort' was in the press at te time (Street Machine & Custom Car)

Is it still around anywhere (in any guise?)

There was also a wonderfully painted Toyota Hi-Ace van ('Iron Horse')

Will put the ones I've found on my 'WebShots' in the 'Miscellaneous Automotive' pages

very impressive - you can almost tell it is just out of the seventies - the same brown paint job that was plastered over many a beach buggy/hot rod type thing....looks good though - roof tent as well - v forward thinking!
