Hi, anyone know of a place in Flintshire that does full service on Landrovers - ie. I want to keep up a decent service history so keeping the book stamped.
Motor in question is a Freelander TD4.

Cheers in advance.

Isn't there a land rover dealership in Chester Used to be James Edward's in Victoria Rd, but I believe they moved to Sealand Rd. Near to the large shopping estate. The only problem is like all dealerships they're not cheep:(
There used to be a garage near the Mold area just opposite the cement factory. Paidswood (spelling) he used to have some wreckers on his fore ct.
On the right hand side when traveling towards Mold.:)

It's been about 15 years since I've been there. Looking at the web page it looks a bit more up market than I remember.:)

IIRC he was in a different location, seem to remember it being off the beaten track. All Series LRs at that time, managed to stay in business a while so must be doing something right!

Unless willagreen knows differently, since it's his local area. Have you not noticed them willagreen or is there a problem with them?

If Birkenhead is not to far try Ian Barclay's, Old Chester Road, Birkenhead. Non franchised Land Rover repairer. He always did a brill job on my Land Rovers when I lived in the UK.

Would have guessed at about £275 anyway so is it worth travelling anywhere else?
Almost double that at James Edwards I'd of thought.

Mills 4x4 in Llanfairfechan charge around the £200 mark, and the boss (Jon) is a proper nice chap (don't tell him I said that).

Bit far from Mold but well worth the journey to not get stiffed!

It's not realistic to compare prices from different regions. Around here dealers charge in excess of £100/hour and independents can easily undercut that and still charge an amount that might seem to others to be too expensive. Like anyone in business they pitch there prices according to market forces.

Evening ALL,
I use WOOD LANE Service Station in Hawarden--owner is a young chap called Tim, they are excellent, thorough and VERY cheap, had a major service on my TD4 and it cost £150 all in, he is very knowledgable about landrovers and is great to deal with, I now take all 3 of my cars to him for everything. Tel: 01244 531851- Ask for Tim
hope this helps
Cheers.

For a TD4, decent oil and parts, not even OEM, are over £100 so I wonder what you get for £150 all in!
Obviously it's up to you, budget servicing or quality servicing?
