well folks - after all the discussions I finally bought the Vango Colorado 800 tent and headed for the hills at the weekend - managed to get the tent up in a bit of a wind without too much hassle - and found it to be fantastic to sit in and listen to the rain faling down outside - friends that came with us said that if it wasn't for this tent, they would have gone home the next day!!
who says size isn't everything!!??
anyway after all that, putting it up etc, i forgot to take a bloomin pic of it so here is a few of the sea at durness and gives you an idea on how wild and windy it was!!
