i have a 2000 freelander and none of my brake lights work anymore.
ive checked the globes and they're all fine.
ive checked the fuse and its fine too, the reverse lights work and the two share the same fuse so i can rule that out.
any help or suggetions would be much appreciated

I had this problem, brake pedel switch had melted. There are 2 different types so make sure you get the right one if you buy from ebay or do yourself a favour and go to land rover for one.

Just stick your head in the drivers footwell and look up. You cant miss it. All you do is disconnect it (should be 2 wires on a pre 2001 I think) and rotate it either left or right and it will pop out of its mount. Easy Peesy!
