td5 tapping noise

hi do anyone have a clue about tapping noise under neith,sounds like a tappet sound round the gearbox and sump area only on tick over,i cannot her the sound under the bonet and the engine sounds sweet.just when i go round the drivers side i can here a faint tapping noise.do any one have a same problem on the td5.thanks.richy

i had it with mine just had the clutch changed and the transfer box oil topped up and me jangly noise has gone.so its one or tother if your auto top up your transferbox.

atb. spuddhi thanks for your repliy i will go and have a look,some times the noise is not allways there,but i will do what you say,mine is an auto
so i got no clutch worry.i will let you know.thanks.richy
