I've got a complete 2.5NAD airbox, pretty sure they where the same for both engines, even has a filter still in it  Has a very small crack in the base, but completely superficial. Might be a bit far away though.

i can check part numbers if you like but i think the td air box is the only one that will fit.

the td is ntc4183 and the other apart from the v8 is described as 'air cleaner assembly , 4 cylinder' part number rrc3750.

from what i can see the mounting legs are different and i suspect the air box top may be different although i successfully used the bottom of rrc3750 with the top of the td box , it doesnt fit but i bodged it with a grinder.

the tdi boxes will not fit as they dont mount onto the chassis and the filters are different.

do you have the filter to turbo pipe? ntc2660 , last i looked this was a very expensive bit.

i tell a lie.
the n/a should fit ok but you might need some bits to plumb it in.
does the n/a use ntc4089 adapter anyone?

Thanks for all the info Nobber.

I would rather get one that will bolt straight in.
The reason for replacing is that i have now fitted a snorkel and my airbox is a little passed its best and i don't want it to be the weak link if i do happen to wade that deep!

I won't be going to the greelaning weekend sadly. I'll be at my garage sometime this week so I'll have a look over the airbox and double check the condition, get a few more photo's and see what postage would cost.
