Sorry if there has been a thread before but can i use biodiesel in my TD5? A mate of mine who has a L200 runs his on biodiesel no probs and suggested i waited for the warranty to expire on my TD5 before switching to biodiesel. Would that be a goer? Or is biodiesel a big no no?
Cheers

General consensus is No.
Here is an earlier thread

Land Rover also say no.

hi, i would add a bit of kerosene in it for over the winter do 80/20 mix or you can add some sort of heat exchanger. ive been running bio d and wvo for a year with probs . now ive made a fuel filter heater and just bought a heat exchanegr 12 volt for the winter coming. the oil needs to be at temp for it to combust properly otherwise it will clog your engine up.
cheers
