Hi all,

Had over the last couple of weeks a little juddering when I am in reverse but the other day a bit of a bang & it jumped out of gear. Now the juddering is worse that before does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

As there are no responses, I'll have a go:

Firstly, is the juddering when taking up the drive to reverse, or while actually reversing?

Second: For the gear to jump out there has to be something serious inside the box, either a selector problem or a bearing failure, or the input shaft and clutch.

Either way, it sounds as though you are going to have to take the box out and look at the box itself and/or the clutch.

There are various suspension items that could cause judder, but they wouldn't make it jump out of gear IMO.
