Hi All, new member here looking for some help. Ive just driven my 2001 TD4 back from NI to Spain and just outside Barcelona, noticed some blue smoke coming from the rear, with a noticeable drop in power when climbing hills. Apart from that it runs normally. I suspect its a blown Turbo? Can anyone help confirm this and what are the cost implications, thanks.

I suspect the two symptoms aren't connected.
Power loss could be due to fuel delivery problems so see this......Land Rover UK Forums
The blue smoke indicating that there is engine oil being burned is more likely to be associated with the crankcase breather requiring replacement. Has this ever been done?
Turbos on td4s are pretty reliable, if an oil seal had gone there would be too much smoke to ignore and continue to drive.

Burst/split turbo pipe from the intercooler?
