i should have said more i suppose
am @ se london (mores the pity!)
drive a 1966 SIIA lwb pick up truck in glorious matt black
ex RAF ambulance, ex gaydon heritage exhibit, refurbished by dunsfold to pick up & have slowly but steadily added sensible stuff along the way, ie optima red top, modulars (painted smoothrite black) chevvy blazer roll bar, jerry cans, sand ladders, defender mirrors, spin on oil filter, servo'd the brakes, essential black furry dice, general sag 750-16, jackall, new coil, new radiator, electrics sort of almost completely replaced, 2cv headlamps on the roll bar, rear bumperettes etc. out of all the cars & motorbikes ive ever owened, this is by far the hardest to drive and yet is also the most rewarding! unfortunately, my better half doesn't share my entheusiasm & is desperate for me to get rid and get a normal car, or she would 'make do' with a disco or a range rover!
i tell her to learn how to drive and get her own car but shes just not interested! and why would she when im her free taxi ?!
cheers for your replies, hope to chat more soon
