There seems to be so many conflicting reports regarding alloys and tyres for Range Rover Sports. I Know you get what you pay for but clearly some alloy retailers do have cheaper alternatives some of which must be up to all the required safety standards. Does anyone have any advice. I would like to change my standard 20" Alloys and Road Tyres on my 2005 RRS for something more interesting...22"...I have looked at Kahn,Hawke and Overfinch all very good but expensive..Thank you

Just a note when changing the wheels to 22'' be aware that the larger wheels normally cause premature wear on the lower front suspension arm ball joints and also the steering arm inner ball joints. Just take into account when talking car for MOT, check them before you fit the wheels otherwise u will make them worse if they have already started to go.

As Nick says, we have one in on Overfinch 22" alloys, tyres worn on the inner edges and a knocking when you go over small bumps. Seems to be more anti roll bar problems, but does exaggerate any amounts of wear in joints.
Good Year tyres are £230 each, Events are £99 each, guess which the Boss said to order?

If the car has got a fluid type roll bar change the bushes, if the car has standard roll bar you need to put rubber packers between the bush and the body, common fault on these cars, more so ones with 22''s. Part number of bushes are RVJ500011 cant remeber packer kit number tho

Thanks Nick, I'll give them a good check over. Certainly sounds ARB as a manhole cover makes a knocking, a speed bump does nothing.
