Is full main dealer history upto date? It has got Main Dealer history
upto 140,000 miles and Land Rover Specialist, M&J Land Rovers in Redditch
since then.

How much MOT and Tax? 2 Months MOT and no Tax. But dependant on what she sells for we may negotiate a new MOT.

How many owners/how long have you her? I am the 3rd owner. I have had her 3 years. Prior to that she belong to a Managing Director hense lots of nice
things on her which we have also added too.

Any off road use? No, My husband has tried very hard to pursuade me to take it off roading but he's failed I didn't want to ruin her :-).

You really have to see this car to appreciate it if I am honest with you. If
you have any questions or I can help further please feel free to ask.
Many thanks for reading.

I'd of liked this if it was a Diesel and it was 18 months away :)

Apart from that I think the layout would have been improved if a few commas were added. Obviously I'm useless without coffee this time in the morning (sorry, Day Off for all you workers there) but "Twin Sunroof Bullbar" had me thinking about that, and "Alloy Wheels Twin Electrics" started to worry me. Then I had a coffee and it all became apparent.

Shouldn't this be in the "Sales" section.

I suppose you could blame him because this is his only post and also he's probably put this all over the net before trying Ebay ;)

He happens to be a she and if you want to sell something to the right person (comma!) you will try anywhere and anything! But hey (comma!) thanks for spending the time to read my ad!

Oh and done the "ebay" bit but finished on just under the reserve. Plus far to many on "ebay" at mo to try again just yet.

Hi Swag,
Thanks for the note. Unfortunately this is the only place I could advertise my "little" Disco Diva, as I have not gained "PRIVILEDGED MEMBER STATUS" yet.
To your point of "if a little too good", She is as good as she sounds because I have never taken her off roading. Too frightened to get her all messed up. If you know what I mean? She has been a true "ladies car" and never ever let me down.

A Discovery is a very capable off tarmac beast :) It has also been proved to be capable on road as they are more often used due to the higher driving position. My current "car" is a G reg Ford Escort, which is really low to the ground. My "Company Car" is usually a 7.5 ton truck which gives a great high up driving position! I absolutely love it!

Sorry to get your sex wrong, I didn't see a name to correlate it all with... And as for the commas, I am sure it was perfectly laid out on the document you typed it on and then it lost its formatting on the transfer, well, it's how it's happened to me in the past!

I am sure there are quite a lot of people here that would love to spend most of their life with their vehicles off road, but the fact is that they only have one vehicle and mostly use it for other things, usually family things, and work, and thus they too spend most of their driving on tarmac.

With my own needs I travel about 3 miles to work, but as I don't work 9-5 shifts (if I did I'd probably use the bus!) I like a vehicle that in every weather I can use to get to work, whether it is 3am on a morning, or 8pm, and can actually handle bad weather. Then can also manage a bit of slippy ground when needed...

BTDT and want a diesel :)

A V8 certainly is capable on tarmac and off-roading I am sure. Sounds to me that the Escort has to go and a very comfory V8 Disco is in order :D

I have had a V8, an '84 Range Rover and it was quite nice, but the main reason that I cannot buy now as I have said earlier in the thread is that I do not have the money now and it would take me at least a year to save up for what I want.

I drive diesels everyday, so I am quite happy to drive a diesel discovery... Although I had a chance at "manouvering" a V8 12 litre truck today... I do like the rumble on that :D

The Escort is doing what it needs to do, and actually judging by the amount of mud on it at the moment I think I do need to wash it. Soon. Good luck with your sale! I am sure someone out there will want a V8 Disco.

Cheers

I had a diesel disco before my V8 and I have to say I prefer the performance on the V8, plus you are right they sound fantastic, especially with the exhaust we put on her.

I am sure she will sell to the right person too, plus I would love her to go to someone who loves discovery's and will have great fun in her. She really looks the part and is probably crying out to be taken off roading. :D I think the problem is that people think "V8's, too thristy to run". Well yes ok they are compared to a diesel obvioulsy, but I was suprised that I get a good few miles out of her to the gallon.

Anyway you better get cleaning your Escort ;)

Nah, it's alright for the moment. When I do need to though I can use the works cleaner. They've got a steam and pressure cleaner with this stuff called "Traffic Film Remover" which is really quite good. Don't use it neat as it will strip top layers of aluminium, but otherwise well worth it.

When I had the RR cleaned there I had to shovel the mud to the edge of the property so they wouldn't notice...
