Hi there,
Just about to pick up my first disco (97 TDi manual). I know that this one is not fitted with CC but I was wondering if it's (1) possible and (2) easy to fit cruise control to it. Is it a case of evreything being there, just plug it all in or are we talking about altering vacuums, fitting additional kit etc?
Cheers,
David

Looks good then, does that also apply to the 300 TDi model as well (I'm pretty sure it's a 300 TDi that we're getting)?

Unfortunately not - the 300's are different to the TD5's (Series 2 Discos). The CC on TD5's basically accesses the engine management ECU to control the fuelling etc.
There isn't an equivalent ECU on a 300 Disco, so AFAIK you need to look at the vacuum approach, which will be rather expensive.

Had a nasty feeling that was going to be the case. Oh well, never mind then.
