Well, it seems things can only get bigger on in the USA, Navistar has just launched what it claims to be the worlds biggest truck, and to be honest, they may not be far wrong. It is known as the International CTX, and is basically a pick-up built off the same platform the company uses to build cement mixer trucks etc.

The end result is this monster truck, which beats the hummer hands down.
Comes complete with four wheel drive, through a 5 speed autobox and two speed transfer box. 4 channel air brakes, complete with ABS, 220hp Diesel engine, can tow 6 ton with ease, and has an air cab (what ever one of those is). 6550mm long, 2750mm high, (on the standard wheels) and a huge option list.

Nice ! I must put one on my Christmas list and ask my mother-in-law if I can keep it on her drive. :santa2:

My wife is complaining that I keep my 109 at home and not elsewhere :bigun2:

WHY? Why on earth would you want to drive around in a cement lorry as your "normal" vehicle?

What is it with the americans and their obsession with overly stilly, chunky, fugly vehicles

I'd buy one to drive round London to P**S off Ken Livinstone and those drivers of small cars :D
Besides, i drive my 101gs around town nowt wrong with that.

Nah... cant really see myself in one of those. The front of the vehicle is really not one would expect on a truck.

Such a vehicle will be near useless outside the 'opern-terrain' in Australia and the US, as the city roads would be unlikely able to have such a thing on them.

Not to mention that it'd be not very good at off-roading, as because it's so heavy, it will dig into the ground easier with those normal width wheels, and that it would more likely get itself grounded.

Looks like a huge ugly piece of **** to me. I wouldn't drive one if it was given to me for free.

And slime, it's not all americans....generalizations are bad...

I think americans have a probelm with size! are they trying to compesate for anything?

Saying that we will probably see one in Zürich next week driven by some puff hair stylist, bet they alrady do it in pink too!
