Ever so slightly stuck!

Rule of the day, don't attempt to follow a revolving shackled, portal axled, locking diff'd Simex shod, V8 powered lightweight in ones Vogue SE wih nothing more than loads of grunt, 1" suspension lift and Colway muds to it's name. It's only going to end in being towed out contrary to the way one went in.

Thing is, it wouldn't be the first time mine was the only motor to cross this mire, leaving others scratching their heads on the other side wandering how I got across and they can't.........

Many moons ago playing out at a site in Wales I was in my 2.25 petrol Lightweight and my mate was in his 2dr 3.5 v8 RRC with a winch :)

He followed me through a "hole" which I had managed OK and sank :(

Got some snaps somewhere. Quite impressive, he needed a country 4x4 forestry tractor 4 goes to pull him out backwards !!!! :D :D :D :D

If you had a bit of speed up you could of dug yourself in a bit deeper :)

It never ceases to amaze me how deep the bulk of a Range Rover will sink it into the ground! My record was at Balado (of 'T' in the Park fame), took a good 4 hours to extract my bellied out In Vogue. Took one Milemarker and a Fairey PTO winch and a lot of pulling, and left one heck of a big hole in the ground.
