The M.O.R.O.N.S. (Morocco Overland Rebels On Nomadic Safari) will be setting off on our mini expedition to Morocco this weekend. There are three vehicles (all Land Rovers) in the group and we're meeting another forum member Ivisonm on the ferry to Spain.
Give us a wave if you see us - easily identified by the 'MORONS' door stickers.
Stand by for Photos and any experiences worth telling upon our return.

Sorry Pete,
Yes, we're going from Plymouth to Santander on the new ferry - 18 hours! Better than two nights on the ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao which we did last time.

Candles! You remember.
Not this time Pete. Nothing to celebrate. We would have been celebrating 'Dangerous Dave's' birthday but unfortunatly he can't make it.
I'll keep you posted how we get on.

Rob,
Being a biker too, such adventures do appeal to me but it's being limited on the amount of kit you can take with you that puts me off. Did you have vehicle (truck) support when you were a*seholing around Morocco?

Replied Pete.
That's it. All packed and ready to go. Gale force winds arer forecast so not looking forward to the ferry crossing accross the Bay of Biscay tomorrow.
More in a couple of weeks with some phots.

Yeah a friend had a Bedford MK and then a Nissan Crewcab. First trip I took a Transalp and put a hole in the sump crossing a flooded oued (good stuff chemical metal!), 2nd trip on an XR600 with 20l tank. We did the mountain dirt passes, dunes and desert pistes.
