Here is the first draft of my preparation project.
The vehicle is a 1953 Series I Minerva, built in Belgium under license, for the Belgian armed forces. There are a few differences, compared to a regular Series I 80: body is made of steel, front wings are cropped and the pickup part doesn't open.
The original 2.0 engine has been replaced. I fitted a 2.5 petrol instead, from a 1985 110. I had to change the bell housing, but clutch, gearbox and everything else is still original (except for the shackles, wich are a tat longer).
First, I'm going to do some testing, regarding the folding awn/tent. The real work will start at the end of the year, when I have access to a real workshop with a really nice semi-automatic fully expensive welding machine...
