So I drive now more that 3000 Km with 50% vegetable oil
I loose a little bit power, and people that drive after me stay looking where they can eat frites
So tomorow I open the engine to look if he is cleaner that before
If yes I thi,k I go to made some transformation and driving with 100% vegetable oil
I look forward to hearing how things look. Being direct injection, some people would say that it is not ideal for 100% SVO, but there is enough anecdotal evidence of good experiences for you not to be too concerned. Look for any evidence of gumming around the injectors.
What fuel pump does the 300 have? The Lucas rotary type is the most likely to fail if you put high percentages of cold veggie oil through it, whereas the Bosch inline types are bombproof.
Something gives me the impression that you might not be in cold blightly, but as a guide vegetable oil at 80C has the same viscosity as DERV at normal ambient temperatures. Tropical climates obviously help.
