engine for series 3

Hi all,

My engine is a bit goosed and will cost a bit to fix.

So does anyone have an engine that I could put in a series 3?
Must be in good condition not too expensive and in Scotland
or know where i could find one.

Any help would be apprecited.

ive got an engine (or two) in scotland, one is an ex mil 2.25 pertol, was using a bit of oil, so ive replaced the head gasget. and should be ok. the other one is anouther 2.25 petrol, but in bits, all there. something to do on a wet day, £50 the pair.

i'm really just looking for something to just drop in and not have to worry about it leeking oil for the next couple of months

it wasnt leaking oil it was using it up, hence why i replaced the head gasket, apart from that it is ready to drop. only after £30 for the complate engine. also i am only an hours drive from glasgow. :)
