Series parobolic springs, Capstan winch [complete]within a reasonable travel distance and reasonably priced.
I am a poor pensioner :cryeyesou with two young children, now I have only got my wifes Discovery and my series 2a land rover, I sold the other one for a profit to buy a Christmas dinner for my family and of course little Tiny Tim :sobbing: .
So be gentle with your price, and it would be a nice seasonal gesture to offer to fit them free, although that is not compulsery. :wink2:

Hi Mudchukker,
Thanks for the offer, if any turn up I may take it up if the springs are as stuck as they look.
I was rather hoping that some young blade like CALLISR, might struggle to do them on my drive in the rain, thus enableing me to carry on Land Rovering in relative comfort into my dottage, that according to him I am fast approaching. ;)

Yeah right you cheeky, doddering old fool!! :D

Then again if it stops you moaning about your poor creaky old bones i suppose I could offer a SMALL amount of assistance in the name of 'help the aged'!!LOL

Look forward to reading your reply sometime in the next week or so when you have finished typing it!! It would probably be quicker actually if you dictated it to Lou and get 'Tiny tim' to hobble round here on his crutch (yes that says crutch and NOT crotch!) to deliver it! :D

I am glad I got all that off my chest! Trouble is I have used all my ammo now and need to rest while I think of some more 'witty' comments.

Please, readers, help this most deserving old gentleman. If he has to spend another christmas being jolted about in that old reindeer powered sleigh, i fear it may be his last so help him make his Landy more comfy so he can use that instead! :fiddle:

Hello Sailor
Still having trouble with the difference between croch and crutch eh.
Was'nt that what got you thrown out of the Navy. :D
I am glad you offered a "small amount of assistance", not offered to give me a hand after the trouble that mix up caused. Whoops, sorry, should'nt I have mentioned that,
Cya ;)

Hi Mungo,

If you really get stuck I can offer a nice area of drive to work on... you just nee to provide the DERV for the space heater and it'll be nice and warm for your old bones. I'll watch you from the comfort of my lounge..... :D

BTW, if the bolts are a bit tight you can borrow the air impact driver as long as you pay for the compressed air.

Cheers,

HAve reconsidered..... you can use the tools.... just need to blow hard...
