I'm thinking about changing my Shocks and springs. Possibly incorporating a 2" lift as well.

Any one got any suggestions, hints, gotchas etc.
Whos doing best deals on shocks & springs at present.

I saw in the LRE that Paddocks were doing Armstrong shocks for approx £9 each - front or rear.

Well i am assuming the Armstrong shocks are oil if so and you want a 2" lift, I would not bother with them and go for Gas instead. I have procomp and they are great except the finish is a bit poor and they are starting to rust (18 months old)
I have scorpion +1" springs and 1" spacers on the rear aswell but tbh I am not over impressed with the springs. I wish I had fitted OME instead.
I also had probs fith the anti roll bar flipping over even though it was spaced down so I removed that and the stiffness of the springs made the lack of anti roll bar un noticable day to day.

Thanks Rich, yes I think the armstrongs are oil, as for your opionins on the other bits - great this is the information I'm looking for, this will help me to decide what way to go...

Hey Dean,
Not sure of anyone at present, if its the bars that cross between the roof fitted bars like mine, if you are really stuck you could borrow one. I know some that has a heavy duty roof rack - I could ask him for a loan, obviously providing he still has it and its not already on loan to someone.
