Hey Pete, thanks for that and all who voted ... :):):)
Picture below of what happens when you dont have a Roo Bar .. :D:D
Cheers .. Davo
mate.. There was a rumour that that was staged.. "its too clean" they said! Well.. If you ever do get the chance to hit one, try to make sure you get it when its on the downward arc of its jump. If you get the up side.. you get feet and tail thru the windscreen, standing dead still.. you get the same effect as hitting a telegraph pole head on!

I gotta admit the pic does look a bit odd ..
Never hit one myself but come close a couple of times.
Trouble is they come at you sideways out of the gloom
and you dont see them til the last minute.

my friend hit a wombat in the forest once.. screwed his steering and buckled his Alloy wheels! And the bloody thing just ran off into the scrub. They couldn't find it!
Maybe we should equip bullbars with wambat pushers too?

A mate was telling me that the LR Steering guard
( Piece of tube with four stays to the chassis)
was only fitted to Oz models, and only after
many complaints after Fenders hitting Wombats.
Not that it was strong enough anyway ..
Dont know if its true .. ;)
