Urgent PC help

Started my PC up this morning came up with fault system think it was 32
Then it gave my highlight options safe mode etc, selected last know settings still wont boot, selected safe mode still wont boot. I now have primary master hard disk error Press F1 to resume, press F1 nothing happens.

I have got on the internet using my lap top through the wireless router.

PS I'm on windows XP.

Can anyone help please.

Should have said I have tried boot selection repair and boot using start up disc but it wont have it :eek:

Is my hard drive dead :(

Sounds a bit like a dead HD to me. :(

Sounds dead. not always bad, may be able to read of it one you have a good system disk running in the pc, may just be a duff sector in the boot area.

Thanks will telephone the local PC supplier where i got it fom it's only 6 months old :(

Thats why I used a local company I can take it round there they have their own engineers.

Not to bad most of my work stuff is backed up so could loose some photos etc but won't be the end of the world.

Oh well it's a good time to move the office into the outbuilding ran broad band and telephone out there today, the wireless router works better from there back to the house don't know why :(
Just need to move the desks and all the files now.

Glad when I get the PC back dont like this laptop
