What do you recommend - tyres are 235/70/16 ATs - on a fairly standard Discovery - currently using 36 psi all round - but open to suggestions to maximise tyree life (majority of miles are on the bitumen).
Thanks in advance.

Don't know whether this will help but I am running Goodyear Eagle GT4+'s and was recommended 28 front and 38 rear by a LR specialist, I thought it was a bit low but seems to work fine.

as per the manwell.

235/70 R16 Radial

front = 1.8 bar,
or 26 lbf/in2,
or 1.8 kgf/cm2

rear = 2.3 bar,
or 34 lbf/in2,
or 2.4 kgf/cm2

hope this helps

(goes to check own tyres..doh).

OK - but that looked a little low for the front.
Does the individual axle weight vary that much to cause such different pressures to be required?

I've heard that the BFGs should run about 3-4psi higher than the standard tyres as they are different construction .
