If any of you are using Windows XP, you'll like this freebie from Microsoft - Photo Story 3 for Windows

Photo Story 3 for Windows allows you to make slide show movies (in loads of different formats) out of your digital pictures. You can add panning and transition effects, captions, a commentary, music (from Cd's, etc... or use the in-built music generator) and then compile it as a movie in your chosen format. You can also save each project so that you can add to, or edit it later.

Download it from here - Photo Story 3 for Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx)

You'll need Windows Media Player 10 installed first. Free download from here - Windows Media Player 10 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/default.aspx)

There are some Minimum System Requirements, Details here - System Requirements for Photo Story 3 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/sysreqs.mspx)

Enjoy!

Paul.

If you have a genuine copy of XP why not try this freebie, its a beta programme runs out after about 8 months, been running for over a month now works well.

Picasa (follolw the links from the google home page) is good. they're giving out version 2, I have version 1 and that is good. Doesn't have a lot of tricks and whizz-bangs but it allows you to organize your photos easily, without a load of hassle. Doesn't time out either!
