I have a graphic file with the extension .XLS that I urgently need to convert to either a JPEG of TIFF file (PDF might do). Can anyone suggest any free software I can download to do this (it is a one off so I don't want to pay!!!) or is anyone on here able and willing to do it for me (file size 400k) if I email it to you :)

Isnt XLS a Microsoft Excel Worksheet? Best is to chuck it in Excel, PDF it... and open it in a program that supports paths, if you need to change around and stuff.

Or throw it at photoshop and rasterise it at a decent resolution.

That's what I was thinking!

Talking of pdf's, why do pdf's I access on the net always have the pictures spoilt? I can't remember if it happens to ones that I have on the hard drive but internet ones are impossible to see what they are.
