Simon mentioned raising his:o . I do a fair bit of sand driving, and the further away from beaching it the better. Can anyone tell me which post that was or any stories theymight have regarding more ground clearance. I spose it increases body roll?

And yes, lifting a car raises its centre of gravity, which will generally cause an increase in body roll. (unless you have some seriously specialist kit)

Can't say I actually notice any increased body-roll, for sure it's not that significant. It is very noticeable that you don't ground out if you're forced into ruts though, the clearance is more than a Defender / Series diff so you just float through :) not sure if you'll get that much benefit in sand, but not difficult or hard to do.
