Hi folks,
downloaded the BETA (pre-production / release) version Microsoft's Anti Spyware software the other week to evaluate it for work, and i have to say that is really does what it says on the tin and more :D .

If there are any system / network admins out there then there are some REALLY nice diagnostic tools bundled in it as well. For the normal user then I have to say that this is an essential bit of kit and blows the doors off Lavasofts AdAware.

Microsoft recieves a LOT of slagging, most of probaly because it is fashionable to slag them off, rather than justified. I have to say that my job has got a hell of a lot easier now that we have migrated to Server 2003 and XP pro.

All this anti-Microsoft stuff really P's me off.

IMO the reason they do so well and have a monopoly is that their stuff is better than the competitors.

The anti-spware stuff is good though, may have to buy it when the eval runs out.

Ooh, i'm not a fan of trying Betas, but i might give this a go as its a program rather than a core componant of 'doze. :)

Been using this a couple of weeks now with no problems ... it seems very alert @ picking up spyware. :)
