Im looking for the place/ file/ location where all your usernames are stored. You know the ones i mean, the ones that saves after youve typed in your login name to this very forum or any other forum or login type site that you use. It asks you the first time you login if you want it saved but i cant find it on the PC anywhere, they must be stored somewhere.

The sad reason is that when i login to a couple of forums it gives me the choice of either 'd', 'dirt' or 'dirt diggler'. This is due to me being a divit a couple of times and not typing in the correct username and it automatically saving it.

Someone must know :D

No idea where they are saved, but I *think* you can turn it on or off in IE by clicking Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing > and then check / uncheck 'Use inline Auto Complete' ?

I oculd be wrong though ... :p

You needs to clear your cookies from your browser, then just re-log into the sites you want using the username you want and save as a cookie when the option arises. You could also turn the auto complete off, think this is found under settings, not quite sure though.

As you are logging on, move your cursor to any name you don't want and press "delete".

I don't know of a place that is within windows that actually shows you what usernames/passwords you've used on the various sites.

One option is to try and decipher the cookies on your system. Good luck :) I've never managed it.

I find the best way is to create a database to store all of your passwords and registration codes for software and the like so it's too hand, then put this lot on your PDA :) :) :D Like Me :)
