I recently installed this pack on my computer and now I can't get connected to the internet. Anyone else had this problem? This happened on my girlfriends computer aswell but I just thought it was her laptop as it is a bit stupid at times

Is this on XP? If so go to control panel, Security Center and check the settings in there. By default SP2 locks down all the security on your PC to the max. You have to tell it to allow certain things.
Either the Firewall or the Internet Settings might be restricting you.

It shouldnt cause a problem!!!
What connection do you use, and what hardware??? (ie: 56K with Diamond internal modem, or ADSL with Netgear Router)

It's on XP, will check the security when I finish work.
I'm using Virgin broadband with the modem they supplied, connects to USB port. Everything was working ok untill I restarted after the pack was installed. all this to try and get my new MP3 player to work

Any thoughts?Have Virgin released any paches/software needed to aid the sp2 upgrade? I know BT did and a lot of people screwed up by not installing those first.
