Extended warranty?

Is it possible to purchase extended warranty in the UK after the 3 yr factory warranty expires?

Has anyone done this and is it a 'Land Rover' warranty or an 'insurance package' ? (like the ones you can get for 2nd hand cars from independent dealers).

Mines up at the end of the year and with the hassle I've had I'd feel much more at ease with another few years cover :)

I asked about this when I purchased the disco and I seem to recall you can extend the warranty for a further year.

After that then you can purchase the used warranty as this says on the website:

I can't remember the cost but I think it was something like £600-£800. (Check this may be wrong).

check the small print, as iirc the land rover extended warranty is just an insurance company one and perhaps might be cheaper sourced elsewhere ;)
