Hi all help please
bought a 200tdi to convert to off road toy
having a 2 "" lift fitted so would any kind knowledge person be able to tell me if those
235/85/16 grizzyly claw tyres retreads will fit on her ????????
and is the 85 bit the hieght of the tyre

No its a usual question

Hi Paul, the '85' refers to the aspect ratio of the tyre. So its height is 85% of the 235mm width, so 235/85-16 will be 200mm from rim edge to tyre outer edge. That makes about 405mm (32") total tyre diameter and 235mm wide. Worth measuring mine to check!

I think you may still have to trim the wheel arches for them to clear, I have a Makita sheet metal nibbler, if you want to. We could also stick one of my 235s/wheel on yours to see if they clear, then drive up and down the bank at my place to check clearance/articulation.

Been to tyre man today he is going to get one of each to try then i can choose.235/85 /16 or 70/16 somthing like that!!!!!!!!!
