3 Beeps

Ok, so had the disco for a few months now. Some might have seen that I live in France. However my French is not quite upto understanding the manual. So two questions.
1. When I start the engine, I hear 3 beeps.
2. When I start the engine I can hear the ABS make a noise.

Are these normal?

if its not everytime and no fault lights are showing the 3 beeps are just a software issue mine does it aswell,,dont know about the abs will pass that on to the bods....

Heard same thing and asked dealer who said it was just a software check and it does not happen on every startup.

Don't know about the beeps but the abs......

Usually when you get to about 5mph the ABS solenoids fire just to check themselves. Only happens the once, just after you start the car - perfectly normal. If you have your foot on the brake at the time you should be able to feel it as well.
