Lock bounce

The last of my little niggles is driving me mad.
When the drives door is unlocked the mech bounces and relocks the doors, not every time say 50% of the time.
Now its not the Central locking servo motor as a mate kindly got me a new one for nowt:D
So is it the latch mech or some thing else ?

The posts I have seen on this problem seem to indicate that a squirt of oil is all that is required. Have a look at past posts or search for your problem....or wait until someone with better memory than me comes along :rolleyes:

sounds like the spring in the lock has gone.

do a search on some of the other forums for door spring and you should come up with something

Oh god not the leagendary spring that no one can get:eek:
Yes have looked at some of the other forum and here and think your right its got to be that.
Oh well out comes the credit card again:eek:, anyone know werebest place to get the offending spring.
Im assuming it the small fiddly one one the door lock mech and not the big one ?
