Electrics 24v Carb Solex
Questions;
1: Should there be a vacuum pipe from the distributor to carb as per 12v systems? (The distributor doesn't appear to have any fitting for vacuum)
2; The throttle spindle has been replaced but is leaking slightly where it goes through the carb body when on steep slopes. Any suggestions or is it (as I assume) just wear in the carb body?
3: Anyone got a 'Nikki' twin choke carb fitted to their 2 1/4? I have one available to swop with the Solex but will obviously need an adaptor for the manifold as it is a 4 bolt fitting, any ideas?
