Recently sold the Di and upgraded to TD4 on a 52 plate (57k miles). Lovely engine though am experiencing exactly the same noises when on full lock, you know, the groaning noise.
Now, I forked out £1300 getting the IRD/VCU replaced on the Di... should I start worrying about the TD4?
I got it inspected (like RAC inspection, the full works) before I bought it and there was suspect oil dripping into the tray beneath the IRD. It's still under warranty - am I just being paranoid or should I get it to the local stealer sharpish?!
