Inserting a Link in a Post

When posting and inserting a link on the forums (eg. www.onetwo.com (http://www.onetwo.com)) I've seen some members just have a link as a 'click here' and the 'here' is the the link. How is this done?

How not to look an idiot button. In my case about 10 times!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

If you are using the standard editor, not the basic one, you can do it by clicking on the wee hyperlink icon just above the box you type in. To see / change the editor you are using, go to your user cp > options, scroll all the way down to the bottom and Robert is your mother's brother :)

the link worked

easy way in the reply box theres the icon thingy with a globe and a chain link

type your text and highlight it then click the globe icon
another pop up which will have your highlighted text already there click OK
popup changes screen and prompts you to type in the URL of the link do tha and click OK
this will wrap around the text previously typed in the reply box

job jobbed ;)

I see it now Bhod. Instead of taking your instruction literally, I was placing the full URL at both ends where you had 'URL' and only changed the middle two brackets. That was on two of the attempts. I don't know what the flip I was doing on the rest of them!! :D
