i like BenQ alot, both for + & - R, try to burn in - where possible as more devices read that format

I've had good success with -R Datawrite (red) and Traxdata. I've also heard good stuff about Verbatim but they are more expensive.

All bought from SVP communications (http://svp.co.uk/) :)

I was once told that there is no difference in quality between + R and - R discs. the only difference is in which DVD burner you have, ie, some, like mine, burn + R's and some burn - R's, and some, like yours, burn both.

For what its worth, I use Memorex and have not had any trouble with them. Might I just add, if your new to DVD burning, try using RW discs, that way you can re-use the disc if you mess up.

There is no difference at all in quality between +R and -R, they are only storage formats, with -R being the most widely used.

If you want to ensure your DVDs are as compatible as they can be then you must use -R as many standalone DVD players cannot play +R.
