Well I went down to my local ford today to take some pics of Eva's new decal and was shocked to see some bloody scrote has dumped a load of rubble and a tarp into the ford - see pic
at this point I have to say that the van was a dog walking van I think!
But bloody hell! whats with people, why do they instist on desicrating such a beautiful spot for the sake of driving 10mins down the road to the dump!!
Unbelievable lazyness!
Any 'travellers' in the area at the moment?

hheheheehhe! :D :D :D :D
In fact a phone call to the Environment Agency should be a priority as they handle some fly tipping and river quality. Depending on the quality of the river they might want to get it shifted pdq.

thats more or less what i ment...Good call.H :)
Unfortunately Geo, the Cegin is one of the most polluted rivers in north wales and I doubt that they would be too concerned with some gravel. I don't mind being proved wrong though!!!!:p
Probabily came out of that white van!!!:D

The environment ageny can compell the council to shift it because of where it is. If it is dumped on private land, the land owner has to foot the bill to shift it. The council nor Environment agency can move it.
We get quite a lot of fly tipping on a field close to a road, often from builders who do not want to pay to visit the local dump. Even after catching one guy dumping the contents of his trailer, the police did nothing after he said he saw the rubbish and was pinching a bit of it!!!:(
I should have followed him home and wreaked my revenge over a long and sustained period. Maybe a few of my son's (30 months) and my daughter's (9 months) nappies through his letter box would have taught him a lesson.;)

An ambush is required!! :grab:
Just caught up with this, often Geo it's not actually lazyness but one of finance. The rubble could well be classed as industrial waste and as such would (especially in London) attract a charge for removal/dumping of it. You would have thought though that people would have found a less picturesque spot to dump it buit the kind of people who are likely to fly tip aren't exactly the sort of people to give a damn anyways.
