Has anybody got a dipstick for a series 2.25 engine (petrol or diesel) going spare? I broke mine yesterday morning! :rolleyes:

If you have one give me a shout, and we can agree on beer tokens, or whatever.... :)

How did I break it....well it's like this....

I was doing the spare wheel on the bonnet pressups, bonnet stay came undone, didn't have a hand spare, so I pulled the stick out with me teeth, and blow me if I didn't bite right through it.....

Seriously though, it simply came apart in me hand! It must be the amount of use it gets, as I check the oil every day owing to the amount of miles I do per week. It was a stress fracture inside the bit where the bell is brazed to the stick.....I work the ol Landy so hard it gets stress! :D :rolleyes:
