Jamesetta,
If you're missing any mud from the site, it's in my drive! Took me 2 hours to get the Land Rover cleaned tonight! I also have several specimines of pond life and plants from your swamp that were hanging off both axles and living in the diff guard, do you want them back?:D
Cheers,
Ross.

Me to Ross.
Only prob is mine is still attached to the car and sort of hanging from the grill. Looks cool shows how a landrover should be used.
Fitting a lift kit tommorow (pending weather) it might be a dirty job as I just dont see me having the time to get to the jet wash.
Its Pimp my Landy time new roof and sides went on it last night, was not to bad a job but the rollcage made removing the old one a bit of a pain, It looked good with no roof but hey Scottish weather no use for that.
Take care all.

not a problem they still have to pay to get in ...:p
However its the fraudsters on e-bay Im worried about ...selling genuine Nortrak mud at stupid prices....and claiming it to be
"the real macoy".... we must protect the public...so we are introducing a dye ,,all Nortrak mud will be yellow.....;)
Sorry Ye110w..next time you come we may lose you..:shhhh:

Steve, Sorry but my mud is being looked after by the petrol pump attendants at Asda Portlethen. They have a perfect view of the washdown from their kiosk.
Must admit too, the Disco attracted a LOT of attention over the last couple of days while driving around Aberdeen. Have these people never seen a Land Rover in its true guise before?

Well, we've got a kilo of red mud, a couple of kilos of black mud, the rest was smelly mud. Put it all in a bag to bring back next time! And the pond life in a jam jar of water.... Can't wait for the Yellow mud! Won't need to wash the Landy!:D
The front grill and winch looked like a sea devil from Dr Who with the various bit of vegetation and mud on them. Considering I spend most of the previous weekend cleaning and rebuilding the winch, "lets drive through that big, deep muddy puddle" probably wasn't my best idea, repeatedly driving through certainly wasn't! Ah well, that was the whole point of going though, wasn't it!?!
Had to wash the Landy as 1, It's in for a service tomorrow and 2, the neighbours were pointing at us as we drove past! Oh, and had to do it at home as we're banned from the local jet wash following a visit to Glentarkie...
Rod, got any pics of the roof swap? What colour is the new roof? Is the rest of the Landy going to be painted different?
Cheers,
Ross.

Hi guys.
I wish I had taken some pics the landy looked cool with no roof. But no I was getting a bit concerned about getting it off. We did not finish it till after Nine and weather was a bit threatening. But hey we got there. The roof is the Landrover white and blue sides and its proper county sides and roof with Alpine windows.
Need rid of the other if anyone knows someone that wants one.
Its a lot better more light in and looks proper other than being multi coloured, but hey Iv got a green bonnet to go on and some mutil coloured doors so not to worried about being diff colours. As for painting yeah not sure what colour was thinking the other day has anyone done a Bagpuss coloured car but thought I might get some stick for that one. Shall we start a new Thread what colour for Rods motor, could be interesting.
Hi guys from Forfar got some friends down that way.
Rod.
