I'm after a Series IIA Split-screen for Otu to replace the existing one peice.


It needs to be from either a suffix G or H chassis/bulkhead type.

Get the bulkhead, crossmember, door pillars and footwells sorted first!

But if there is one by chance floating around cheap, like, £10, I'll probably get it, considering the roof is all unbolted. It's easier to do it now than do it after it's all back together again and sealed up.

got one, i'am also going down south, but i wont have time to remove it. you can have it for nowt if you forget about the stage.

Will it fit a 1969 Series IIA though?

Any IIA screen will - its only the wiper motors which differ as far as I'm aware. How bothered are you about authenticity?

Well, if I can get one now while the roof and all is unbolted, I could do the conversion easier. But if I can't source one before the roof goes back on, then, I'll just have to put up with it for the time being.

i have one you can have for 10 quid, in good condition, with wipers, its an early IIa so no problems for urs,

Mine is a late IIA though... so what would I do about the wipers?

I should be able to parceline line it cheap enough, will dig it out after i have done my axle this weekend and give you some pics etc
