I am looking to buy a one or two year old Disco 2 for fun and work. The obvious choice would be the TD5 Automatic, but the thought of LPG at 38 - 39p /litre is very tempting. Especially as I've heard the TD5 described as "gutless wonder." Have any of you had experience of the V8 on LPG and are there any reliability issues with it? A mate of mine has a 4.6 litre HSE Rangie which, after being converted to gas, cost him twelve hundred little gold drinks tokens when BOTH CAT boxes collapsed. The wealth of experience out there ought to raise a few comments - I'm all ears.
