300 TDi Drivers Electric Window

I have a faulty electric window motor on the drivers side door. As these are about 100 GBP does anyone know if any of the other motors in the back the same? I don't want to remove the door panel just to find out that they are different.:confused:

:) I think there may be a slight difference between front and rear.Having had no problems with the rear ones couldnt say for sure.

Check out eBay for the bits you need.I got both my front ones for under £40 each and that included carriage and came with the regulator mechanism too.

they maybe a £100 new as you say, why not try get one from a breakers

Cheers just been onto Ebay, the parts are way cheaper so cheers fpr that.

Not sure if you can see my Avatar, but I've been building a Toylander (Series 2) out of plywood for my son. To cut a long story short I've got to the point where it now steers, and the little lad is over the moon with it. He said "Can we take it on the beach for a drive?" Maybe I should try and squeeze in a V8!
