Handbrake cable replacement - top tips needed

Am I right to presume I remove the drive shaft and then the handbrake drum to affix the end of the cable inside?

I tried on a previous post and a search has not helped with the detail.

Are there any top tips from those who have gone before me - before I dive in this weekend??

Unfortunately I don't have a piccy of the Disco set up, but it I would assume the handbrake end would be the same as the Defender so here's a piccy of the Defender system. The propshaft and brake-drum will need to come off.

Thanks - that's what I thought - but a previous post on here seemed to imply differently.

It cannot be too hard a job and will give me the chance to inspect the drum and shoes!
