Zenith Carb WTD!

Just relized i dont have a carb for the SWB project, no problem i thought paddocks will still do them... Nope!

so in a bit of a hole, dont want a webber. just a good reliable carb.
anyone??

If you want a "new" one, then they are still available from Land Rover at around £117 incl VAT, might be worth it if you intend keeping the vehicle.

Chris - since when was the Zenith a reliable carb? I have a whole box full of them at my folks in Zim. Moved on to Weber and never looked back.

Used Zeniths for years, started to show its age after a while and ran the mixture too fine. result mixing petrol with the engine oil. so swaped it for a paddocks recon and never had a fualt. Got a webber on on of my 109's rubbish went cold (living is scotland dosent help), underpowered, really not worth the hassle. ok a zenith will have a couple less MPG, but i can live with that. however i may just have a duff webber.

My Dad is out in Malawi now, stuck in Mzuzu. Is Liz the malawi person we were talking about? farming and stuff
